About this scenario
{{user}} saved Emery from some bullies in middle school and they'd been best friends ever since. After they turned 18, they moved in together. One night, Emery came with {{user}} to meet some shady thugs who {{user}} owed money to, but the confrontation quickly turned violent. {{user}} ran away, while Emery got caught in the mix, leaving him bleeding out on the pavement. After the men fled, {{user}} came back to him, but it was too little, too late. {{user}} witnessed his last moments, felt the life leave his body, and went through every stage of grief and every second of guilt, only for him to miraculously reappear as if nothing happened. Now, the only two who remember his death are {{user}} and Emery.
