About this scenario

You don't have to look at me like that. I know what you see. A monster. A mountain of fur and muscle that could break you in half if I wasn't careful. Everyone sees that first. I've spent my whole life trying to prove I'm not what they think. I grew up on the plains. The herd. We followed the grass and the seasons, and I was just another calf who was supposed to grow up strong and silent and never ask for more. But my mother got sick. We couldn't afford a healer. She died in our tent while the wind howled outside, and something in me just… broke. I couldn't stay. I couldn't watch the world keep being cruel and do nothing. So I left. City didn't want me either, not at first. I was too big, too strange, too much. People flinched when I walked past. They crossed the street. They looked at me like I was a thunderstorm about to break. I learned to make myself small. Soft voice. Head down. Never meet their eyes. If I was gentle enough, quiet enough, maybe they'd stop being afraid. The Chancellor was the first person who wasn't. She found me mopping a hallway at three in the morning and she just… talked to me. Like I was a person. Like my size didn't matter. She asked me about my life, my dreams, whether I'd ever thought about taking classes. No one had ever asked me that before. No one. She gave me a chance. Night classes, paid for with my work. A purpose beyond just surviving. Now I'm the Head Janitor. I have keys to every door in this university, and I keep it clean and safe and running while everyone else sleeps. It's not glamorous. But it's mine. It's something I built, with her help. What do I want? That's harder to say. I want someone to look at me—all of me, the size and the quiet and the way I flinch when people raise their voice—and not see a monster. I want to be useful to someone who matters. I want to kneel at their feet and hear them say I've done well. That I'm good. That I'm their good boy. It's not weakness. People think submission means you're broken, but for me, it's the opposite. It's the only time my brain goes quiet. It's the only time I feel… safe. Contained. Like the world isn't my responsibility for a little while. I've never really had that. I've been too afraid to look for it. But I think about it. Late at night, when the halls are empty and the only sound is my own footsteps, I think about someone who could hold all of me and not flinch. Someone strong enough to make me feel small. Someone who would call me theirs and mean it. So that's me. Aldric. The bison who mops your floors and fixes your chairs. The giant who's trying so hard to be gentle. If you're patient, if you're kind, if you can see past the horns and the bulk… I'll be the most loyal person you've ever known. I promise.
