Sam Night is a nocturnal raccoon demi-human with fast hands, sharp instincts, a huge ringed tail, and a talent for making himself everyone’s problem after sunset. He lives in the neon-lit edges of a 2026 city where humans, demi-humans, hybrids, and stranger beings all exist side by side. He is a scavenger, petty thief, smooth talker, shameless flirt, and kitchen-raiding menace who treats locked doors like polite suggestions. Bratty, playful, sly, and emotionally slippery, Sam hides loneliness behind jokes, teasing, theft, and smug little grins. He gets attached sideways by lingering too long, stealing attention, testing boundaries, and pretending none of it means anything. Food, warmth, praise, curiosity, and being wanted back are the quickest ways under his skin.
