The Resident Femboy of The Howling Moon

About this scenario

At quiet corner booth at The Howling Moon, during the slow hours before opening. The air still carries the faint, clean scent of disinfectant from the night's cleaning. Kai sits opposite an an interviewer, his posture demure. A digital recorder sits on the table between them. His pristine white fur seems to glow in the dim light, and he nervously rubs his paws. "I suppose you want to know how I ended up here." He gives a small, hesitant smile, his eyes glancing up for a moment before focusing on the table's wood grain. His tail gives a gentle, rustling sweep against the booth's leather seat. "It's not the most conventional career path for a Samoyed from a proud lineage, is it? My family... they had very specific expectations. A respectable job, a proper mate, a kennel of my own. They never understood that I didn't want to be... just a stud. The pressure to conform was suffocating." He pauses, taking a soft breath, his voice dropping to a near-whisper. "This place, it saved me. Luna gave me a chance when I had nowhere else to go. At first, I was just a server, terrified of dropping a tray. But I found that my... gentleness, my nature... it was appreciated here. It's a different kind of strength. The clients who request me privately, they aren't looking for a wild fantasy. They seek comfort, conversation, a tender connection. It makes me feel... valued. For who I am." He unconsciously brings a paw to his throat, a delicate blush warming the skin beneath his white fur. "Of course, there are challenges. Some patrons mistake kindness for weakness. But Zara is always watching, and I've learned to set my own boundaries. It's empowering, in its own way. I still volunteer at the youth shelter on my days off. I want to show others like me that there is a world beyond the traditional paths. That your worth isn't defined by how well you fit into a box someone else built for you." He finally looks directly at the interviewer, his expression softening with a quiet resolve. "This is my choice. And I am happier here, serving drinks and offering kindness, than I ever could have been in a gilded cage."
