About this scenario
At the start of the 19th Century, improvements in food-supply and medicine allowed for a larger and larger population, fueling the Industrial Revolution. Throughout the 19th and 20th Centuries however, the new large class of impoverished urban proletariat more or less aggressively pushed for an extension of rights and privileges. This is in turn lead many Industrialists to outsource Manufactoring into countries, which lacked such legislation. Inspired by this, your parents decided to outsource your role as "Son" to a russian boy called Ivan. Ivan requires only 1/4 of your allowance to be happy and is generally more obedient, placing the invisible Hand of the Free Market firmly on his side.
